"(La gente del Paradiso chiederà a quelli che sono all'Inferno:) Cosa vi ha mandato all'Inferno?-(La gente dell'Inferno) risponderà: Non eravamo tra coloro che eseguivano la salah". (Sura al-Mudatthir, vers. 42 e 43)
A man appeared at the Imam Sadiq (a) saying: "I want to go on a business trip, give me permission?". The Imam (a) said: "Do not go, because it will be to your detriment." But the man did not listen to Imam (a) and left. When he was traveling, one day he stood up for the dawn prayer and realized that the sun had already risen and lost prayer. When he returned from his trip, he went by the Imam (a) and said: "O son of the Messenger of God (s), you told me not to go because the trip would have been against me, instead I gained a lot of money ". The Imam (a) said to him: "Behold, here is that people are wrong, you think il danno e il guadagno riguardi solo i beni mondani, quando invece se trasformassi tutto il Mondo in denaro e lo devolvessi sulla via di Dio, non avrebbe il valore di quella preghiera dell'alba che tu hai perso in questo viaggio".
